Hierdoor voorkomt u overbelichte opnamen.

Making the exposure

Aim the camera at the subject to be photographed. Rotate the light meter dial's shutter speed scale right or left, after which the following needle should align with the exposure measuring needle. In this way all sorts of combinations of shutter speeds and apertures are possible. Each of these combinations allow you to make good exposures. The numbers on the aperture scale show the values of the aperture. The numbers from 500 to 2 on the shutter speed scale show the values of the shutter speeds in fractions of a second. Those from 1 to 30 in whole seconds. The black numbers on the shutter speed scale of the light meter dial correspond with the numbers on the shutter speed knob. The exposure time and the corresponding chosen aperture, depending on the circumstances under which is being photographed, have to be transferred to the camera and the lens. Never forget to close the aperture ring on the ZENIT-E by turning it to the right. This will prevent overexposed shots.
