The self-timer
When using the self-timer, place the camera on a tripod.
- Set the camera normally for subject and exposure.
- Set the lens to M (manual). Wind the self-timer by pressing the handle (1) downwards until it stops.
- Start the self-timer by pressing the start button (2).
- The self-timer works within 7 seconds after the shart button has been pressed.
Interchangeable lenses
All interchangeable lenses with a M42x1 thread and a focal distance between 37
and 1000mm can be used. If the interchangeable lens does not have an automatic
aperture, the aperture ought to be operated manually. It can occur that a long focal
covers a small part of the negative. This can also be of influence to the automatic
exposure.
Closeup photography
With the aid of a bellows or rings, pictures can be taken at short distances and
reproductions of drawings, manuscripts, pictures etcetera made.
